Hello World

Hello World is an interactive kinetic sculpture exploring connection, movement, systems and the human impulse to reach outward.

Referencing the familiar first phrase used in programming, the work reflects a transition from software and systems design into sculpture and public art. Precision balanced and responsive to both wind and touch, the piece transforms industrial materials into an experience of motion, curiosity and participation.

The composition draws subtly from celestial relationships. The earth, moon and a slice of the sun held in dynamic balance - suggesting orbit, continuity, gravity and dialogue between bodies in space.

Finished in a titanium metallic grey, Hello World exists in continual conversation with its environment, shifting gently with changing conditions and human interaction.
