Orbit

A vibrant exploration in materiality, spatiality and playful dynamism. All pieces in this series are unique works, varying in size, colour, and composition, each creating an intriguing visual landscape that invites the viewer to question notions of stability, motion and balance.

At the heart of every Orbit series sculpture is one or more polished stainless steel orbs, suspended with an impending sense of movement or momentum. Despite their grounded foundations, these orbs challenge the viewer's perception of gravity and stability, defying these fundamental laws with an air of playfulness.

Each creation is a thought-provoking investigation into the intriguing interplay between form and force, stasis and motion. In their playful dynamism, they invite the viewer into an ongoing conversation about the delicate balance that governs our universe, encouraging us to marvel at the wonders of suspended motion, to reflect on the precarious nature of balance and to engage with art in a manner that is both visceral and intellectually stimulating.
